Islamabad, May 26, 2025 — Chairman of The NGO World, Mr. Zafar Iqbal, had the honor of visiting the office of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Islamabad. During the visit, he met with the Country Coordinator, Ms. Saliha Tuna, to discuss future development initiatives and explore opportunities for deepening collaboration between the two organizations.
The meeting centered around ongoing and upcoming projects focused on sustainable development and community empowermen. Both sides expressed a strong commitment to enhancing ties between Pakistan and Türkiye through impactful social good actions.
In a symbolic gesture, Mr. Zafar Iqbal presented Ms. Saliha Tuna with a special publication titled “Brotherhood for Social Good.” The document chronicles the 14-year journey of The NGO World in partnership with various Turkish donor organizations, highlighting shared efforts in disaster response, education and poverty alleviation since 2010.
This meeting marks another milestone in the enduring relationship between The NGO World and Turkish institutions, reaffirming a shared vision for inclusive development and global solidarity.
