Zafar Iqbal Named Executive Advisor to the Global Council of World NGO Day
The NGO World Foundation proudly celebrates the nomination of its Founder and Chairman, Mr. Zafar Iqbal, to the Global Advisory Council of World NGO Day.
From grassroots efforts to global platforms, his journey since 2002 reflects dedication to empowering communities and strengthening civil society. Since 2014, he has played a pivotal role in advancing World NGO Day in Pakistan—bringing together hundreds of organizations and promoting the vision of the Sustainable Development Goals.
In recognition of his contributions to global civil society, he has also been honored with the first honorary medal by the Secretariat of the World NGO Day initiative.
This nomination reflects his continued commitment to advancing inclusive, collaborative, and sustainable development at both national and global levels.
